TA for Bio 2
What has surprised you about college?
I have had a lot less time than I anticipated to participate in all the great community-based and academic opportunities Dartmouth has to offer!
What was most challenging about your experience with your Tucker program?
Organizing fundraising events and getting the word out about Habitat and the need for affordable homes in the Upper Valley.
What do you love about your Tucker program?
I love being able to connect with families we build for and to work side by side on their home.
What would you say to a student who is thinking about becoming involved with Tucker?
Whether you are interested in Habitat or another local service program, Tucker allows students the opportunity not only to explore the Upper Valley but also to contribute to your community.
How has your Tucker Foundation experience affected you?
Before coming to Dartmouth, I had never participated in Habitat for Humanity. Habitat exposed me to the issues of homelessness and home insecurity in my own home state that I was previously unaware of and provided me with one way I can work with my community to tackle those issues.
What is one fun fact about you?
I have a conjoined tooth.
