What do you love about Multi-faith Council?
My life has always revolved around the pursuit of knowledge and understanding, especially in a faith-based context. From reading almost all of the world's sacred texts to going on a Hindu pilgrimage and spending a summer at a Buddhist monastery, I feel compelled to share these experiences so as to help others realize the beauty and transformative potential of multi-faith. At Dartmouth, Multi-faith Council allows me to accomplish this goal as well as grow from the knowledge and spirituality of those around me.
How have your experiences with Tucker effected you?
The wide array of opportunities at Tucker to impact the Dartmouth community, the Upper Valley, and general society through service and leadership was one of the main reasons that attracted me to the College in the first place. Through Tucker, I have had the wonderful privilege of interacting with other student activists who possess the same passion for bettering our world, and working collaboratively with them to make that vision a reality. Most of all, I hope to inspire future Dartmouth students to always find ways to help others, because that ultimately will make the world a better place.
What would you say to a student who is trying to get involved at Tucker?
The opportunities are truly endless! If you have an innovative, interesting, exciting service project or concept in mind that you want to pursue, there is simply no better place to find the resources, people, and trust needed to have that come idea come to life.
What is one fun fact about you?
I have a stuffed duckling named Ducky that I was given the day I was born, and have had it with me ever since. In fact, it's sitting right on my bed right now!
