What has surprised you about college?
At Dartmouth, everyone has surprises. In any given classroom, you may be sitting next to an Olympic athlete, a member of a horse circus, an entrepreneur, or the kindest person. Everyone is wonderfully unique and contributes to the campus identity in their own way.
What was most challenging about your experience with your Tucker program?
Accountability and reliability when organizing a group of volunteers is always a challenge.
What do you love about your Tucker program?
I love how welcoming and open the Tucker Foundation is in addition to really trying to be conscious of the impact the programs have in the community. I think that everything is done with great purpose and intent.
What would you say to a student who is thinking about becoming involved with Tucker?
The Tucker Foundation is great! There are programs for everyone and it's a wonderful way to get out of the Dartmouth Bubble and have a positive influence in the surrounding area. It's also an opportunity to learn more about your place in the local and global community.
How has your Tucker Foundation experience affected you?
It has defined my Dartmouth adventure and shaped my life goals. It also shaped how I view the world and service.
What is one fun fact about you?
I grew up with an apple farm! As a result, I am unfortunately an apple snob.
