Stacia Burd joined the Tucker Foundation in July 2012 as Volunteer Coordinator for Local Service at the Tucker Foundation. In this position, she advises student leaders of community service programs that work in the Upper Valley addressing issues of college access, homelessness, youth mentoring and health issues.
Prior to coming to Dartmouth, Stacia worked as Campus Services Coordinator for the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. Her main duties included student advising, campus outreach, curriculum development, and facilitation of programs and events. Before moving to St. Louis, Stacia lived in Syracuse, NY, where she completed her M.S. in Higher Education at Syracuse University and spent three years at SUNY Upstate Medical University as Academic Support Coordinator and Assistant Director of the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP), a support program for underrepresented students in the STEM fields. A former college athlete, she also worked with first-year student-athletes for Syracuse University Athletics. Stacia is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University, where she studied Women's Studies and Sociology, and played varsity soccer (Go Buckeyes!). She lives in West Lebanon, NH with her husband, Brandon, and their two dogs.
