In addition to the patenting and licensing of inventions, our office assists Dartmouth investigators with obtaining and providing proprietary materials for evaluation and research via Material Transfer Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements. We also provide assistance to Dartmouth’s Office of Sponsored Projects in the negotiation of Sponsored Research Agreements (SRAs), Small Business Technology Transfer Agreements (STTRs), and Small Business Innovation Research Agreements (SBIRs). Depending on the circumstances, we will review the intellectual property clauses for these agreements or take the lead on negotiations.
