National Theater Institute

The Department of Theater has an ongoing relationship with the National Theater Institute, located at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT. Dartmouth students may spend a semester at NTI, studying acting, directing, design, voice, playwriting and movement. 

NTI also provides a semester in Moscow program, a separate three week London program, plus other special theatre trips, programs and seminars.

Over the years, many Dartmouth theater students have taken advantage of the opportunity to study at NTI, and have found it rewarding and useful.
