Pie Crust



  • 3 cups white flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup butter (or crisco)
  • 2/3 cup cold milk


Blend flour, salt, and butter in food processor until flour is coarse and gravelly. Add milk slowly while continuing to run food processor. It should just come together into a dough when the last of the milk is added. Remove from food processor, wrap in saran wrap, and refrigerate for 15 minutes or so before dividing in half and rolling out.

Makes 1 double-crust 9" pie (generous).
