Combine water, millet, and salt in a pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 25 minutes.
Remove from heat. Add butter while millet is still hot.
Slice olives. Crumble feta.
Add olives, feta, and basil to millet. Mix well, adding pepper to taste.
Serve lukewarm or cold.
