LC Technology International

LC Technology International - This training organization provides courses such as Computer Forensics, Advanced Computer Forensics, Network Security Intrusion Detection, Advanced File System Recovery, Internet Crimes Against People, Presenting Digital Evidence at Trial, Personal Digital Device Forensics, Fundamentals of Audio / Video Forensics.

Course Information:

High Tech Crime Investigators Course (3 Levels) -
Level 1 - The Basic Computer Crime Certification course introduces you to the world of computers and computer crime — and the tools and techniques you need to investigate, prosecute, and convict computer criminals.
Level 2 - In this second level of High Technology Crime Investigator certification, you'll start digging in to the basic elements of data recovery and digital evidence retrieval utilizing the latest forensic tools. Applications used to “hide” data such as Steganography and encryption will be discussed in user-friendly language. Level 3 - In this capstone to the High Technology Crime Investigator Certification program, your trainer will be giving you slice-of-crime “cases” and guiding you through the process of tracking the criminals, uncovering and decrypting the evidence, and assembling all the information you need to make an arrest and obtain a conviction.

Computer Fraud Investigators Course - In this course you will learn how to conduct an investigation into all aspects of computer fraud — and the skills to assemble the evidence you’ll need to turn that investigation into a conviction will be at your fingertips.

Digital S.W.A.T. - Digital SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) is 2-Day crash course on computer forensics. Designed for computer-savvy IT Techies, CISSP’s, MCSE’s or anyone who has a need to recover and analyze digital information in a forensically sound manner, Digital SWAT will provide students with the tools, tips and techniques needed to properly assess, authenticate, analyze and archive “digital artifacts”. Digital SWAT is a “hands-on” seminar which will teach you how to quickly assess a digital evidence-gathering incident and provide you with a wide variety of legally-tested solutions. If you elect to take and pass the Digital SWAT final exam, you will earn the “Certified Cybercrime First Responder” (CCFR) certification.

Network Security Intrusion and Detection - The Network Security Intrusion and Detection (NSID) course was designed for corporate security officers, law enforcement, and forensic examiners. The NSID course is hands-on, with the students developing an in-depth understanding of the workings of the Internet. The relationship of the Internet and hackers, and the vulnerability of corporate, civilian, and law enforcement networks to intrusions is explored. Finally, the NSID course will provide information relating to protecting networked systems and detecting intrusions.

Personal Digital Device Forensics - The Personal Digital Device Forensics (PDDF) course of instruction was designed to train corporate and law enforcement investigators in the forensic recovery of digital evidence from personal digital devices. PDDF is an in-depth, hands-on course in which each student, using a computer workstation, a Personal Digital Assistant and specialized software, will learn how to properly seize and examine a variety of hand held digital devices and their related media for evidence relating to a criminal or civil offense. All students attending the PDDF will receive specialized software to take back to their organization upon completion of the training.

NSA Sponsored IAM Training - Present by Security Horizon - The IAM is a detailed and systematic way of examining cyber vulnerabilities and was developed by experienced NSA and Commercial INFOSEC assessors. NSA is providing the IAM to assist both INFOSEC assessment suppliers and consumers requiring assessments. This market was originally created by the PDD-63 requirement for vulnerability assessments of automated information systems that support the U.S. infrastructure. In addition to assisting the governmental and private sectors, an important result of supplying baseline standards for INFOSEC assessments is fostering a commitment to improve an organization's security posture.

Other Courses:

Online Child Pornography Course - This three-day, hands-on course gives you the tools and techniques you need to put a stop to online child pornography from two directions: Identifying, tracking, and apprehending the predators, and using proven methods to help prevent kids from becoming victims.

High Tech Prosecutors Course - In a special two-day course designed especially for prosecutors, you’ll examine every aspect of computer crime prosecution. From computer terminology to federal Internet laws to warrants and other legal requirements.

Interrogating High Tech Offenders Course - Investigators will learn how to conduct an interrogation of persons suspected tech criminal acts. The course will aid investigators in determining the motive based on case facts, combined with knowledge of personality traits, and previous offenses of a similar nature. Being able to incorporate appropriate countermeasures to overcome resistance and obtaining honesty from offenders, are critical skills to criminal investigators.
