Formed
in the Spring of 2010,
Taal is Dartmouth College's one and only
South Asian Fusion A Cappella Group. It is a student-run organization
dedicated to promoting cultural exchange by mixing Western music with
that of South Asia and other parts of the world. From Oman to Kansas,
our members come from a wide variety of geographic and ethnic
backgrounds. Our mixes include popular American rap and hip hop and the
widely-popular Bollywood tunes of South Asia. Auditions are held every
fall, and we encourage students of all cultural backgrounds to come
audition.
