A lawyer by training, I have taught Spanish as a Foreign Language since 2005. Born and raised in Chile, since I was a child, I have studied English as well as French and German, and always loved languages and their relevance in getting to know about other people and cultures. Once living in this country I found out how rewarding it was to teach a language and share your culture with other people, understanding first hand, the difficulties people can experience. For this reason, I try to inspire in students the confidence and courage to “dare” to communicate in Spanish, providing them with the tools they need in the most practical and attractive way possible.
Revising and annotating my great grandmother Inés Echeverría Larrain’s Memoir (Iris), from early 1900, partly in French, about the life of one of the first Chilean female writers.
