Carlos Cortez Minchillo completed his undergraduate studies in Portuguese and French at Universidade de São Paulo (USP), in Brazil. He wrote a dissertation on Brazilian literature on the Web in conclusion of his M.A. degree on Literary Theory at Universidade de Campinas (UNICAMP). For 18 years he worked as a High School teacher at Colégio Bandeirantes, in São Paulo, and since 2003 he teaches Literature at the Department of Journalism at FACAMP, a college in Campinas where he also coordinates the Department of Portuguese. Among his publications are "Linguagem em movimento" (2008), "A farsa de Inês Pereira" (1999) and "Sonetos de Camões" (1998).
