Sachem Field offers the Big Green team the opportunity to play at a state-of-the-art facility that is situated a few minutes from the Dartmouth College green.

Construction was completed for the beginning of Dartmouth College's first varsity season in 1995.

The field, built to conform with the specifications established by the NCAA, consists of a natural surfaced playing field and a symmetrical outfield whose fences measure 200 feet in distance from homeplate.

Finishing touches went on the field in 1997, with the addition of a fully enclosed pressbox behind homeplate. The Sachem diamond displays the continuing commitment to the athletic department and softball at Dartmouth College.
