At Dartmouth: Quattrocchi enters her senior season already among
the all-time pitching leaders. She is first in strikeouts (275), wins (35)
and earned run average (2.28).
2002: Quattrocchi appeared in 15 games and started a team-high
13 while finishing four...She threw 76.1 innings and had a 2.11 earned run
average...She allowed opponents to hit just .224 against her, which was
a best on the pitching staff...Quattrocchi was presented the Coaches Award
for contributions both on and off the field...Held teams to two or fewer
earned runs in 12 of her 15 games...She threw a five-hit shutout against
Rhode Island and later tossed four scoreless innings in relief against Holy
Cross...Picked up a season-high five strikeouts in Game Two at Brown...Quattrocchi
also collected four hits in 21 at bats and had five RBI.
2001: Quattrocchi appeared in 19 games...Had an 8-11 record and
a 4.37 earned run average...The school's all-time leader in strikeouts (242)
and wins (30)...Had a season-high 10 strikeouts against Columbia...Threw
11.2 innings in a 1-0 loss at Rhode Island...Named to the Ivy League honor
roll once.
2000: Quattrocchi had a school-record 22-4 overall record and
a 6-1 mark in league play...Set the season and career-record for strikeouts
in a season with 169...Named both Rookie and Pitcher of the Year in the
Ivy League as well as first team All-Ivy...She was also named first team
ECAC All-Star, second team All-Region, honorable mention All-New England
and was the team's most valuable player...Appeared in a team-high 26 games
and finished with a 1.02 earned run average...Threw a school-record 10 shutouts
and also completed 24 games...At the ECAC Championship, Quattrocchi threw
24.2 innings and allowed just two earned runs while striking out 22 as Dartmouth
finished second in the tournament...In her first collegiate start against
Maryland-Baltimore County, Christine fanned a personal best 11 batters...On
March 30, she threw a no-hitter against St. Anselm, striking out six...Was
the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week three times and Ivy League Rookie of
the Week twice. |
