At Dartmouth: Haggard is also a member of
the Dartmouth women's hockey team. She was a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier
Award and was the Ivy League and ECAC Player of the Year in 2001-2002.
2002: Haggard emerged as a top player her junior year and finished
second on the team with a .333 batting average...Posted career-highs in
hits (35), doubles (nine), homeruns (two), RBI (15) and runs scored (20)...Was named the Big Green's most improved player...Hit a homerun
in her first at-bat of the season against Cornell in Florida on the spring
trip...Had a season high five game hit streak and batted .375 during that
time...Played at third base, left field and center field during the season...Finished
the season a perfect six-for-six on stolen bases.
2001: Haggard made 12 appearances, mainly as a pinch runner for
the Big Green...She went 1-for-4 against Vermont...Scored three runs, including
two in the ECAC Championships.
2000: Haggard appeared in 11 games for the Big Green...She batted
.357 (5-for-15)...Had a 3-for-5 day against Central Conn., and a key RBI
pinch-hit single in a win against Princeton. |
