About the Program

The Dartmouth Skiway offers challenge and enjoyment to skiers and riders from beginner to expert. Our ski and snowboard school directed by Sean Norton has a highly experienced group of instructors who make it easy to improve your skills and still have fun on the slopes. They offer instruction for all levels, several times each day. Our beginner's slope and lifts are all designed especially for first time skiers and snowboarders. With gentle grades and easy to ride magic carpet, learning to ski and ride at the Skiway has never been easier.

Individual Lessons 

  • Offered daily at 9 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
  • Reservations are highly recommended. 
  • Please call 603-795-2143 Ext. 25 to schedule your lesson.
  • Helmet use is highly recommended and encouraged. Helmets are provided for lessons.

Group Lessons

Play Ski Program ( 3 year olds)

$170

Our Play Ski groups introduce the sport of skiing to 3 year olds.  The goal is to introduce and increase skills of young skiers in small groups taught by our professional instructors.  The focus of this group is getting the feeling for skiing and FUN/PLAY.

  • Six week program starts the week of Jan 2nd, 2017. (Classes will not be held on Jan. 16th)
  • Sessions are 60 minutes in duration
  • Schedule: Either Mon or Tues mornings (10:15-11:15) or Wed afternoons (1:00 – 2:00)
  • Lift access is included for each participant in this program
  • Equipment is available but NOT included in the program cost
  • Program rentals are available for $60
  • Parents must remain on site during the program
  • Some weeks the program may remain indoors. (boot work/exercises/activities)
  • Registration is limited 
 

Kinder Program (ages 4-6)

Young skiers discover the joys of skiing during an uncrowded time on the slopes.  The goal is to introduce and increase skills of young skiers in small groups taught by our professional instructors

  • 6 week program starts the week of Jan 2nd, 2017 (classes will not be held Jan 16th or Feb 10th
  • Sessions are 90 minutes in duration
  • Schedule: Either Mon afternoons (1:00-2:30) or Fri mornings (10:15-11:45)
  • Lift access is included for each participant in this program
  • Equipment is available to rent but is NOT included in the program cost
  • Program rentals are available for $60
  • Registration is limited

Gateway Program (ages 5-12)

$199

This program offers young skiers the opportunity to discover the excitement of downhill skiing in a fun and safe environment.  The program is recreational in nature, with a focus on improvement through increased skiing time and includes an introduction to gates, brushes, and moguls along with other terrain features to build and reinforce skills.  The program is designed to develop competent, safe, and happy lifelong skiers.  Skiers are grouped by age and ability.  The child is required to have skied down unassisted from the Winslow Quad lift the previous season to be in this program.

  • This program begins on Jan 7th, 2017 and runs through March 5th, 2017
  • Sessions are 2 1/2 hours in duration
  • Schedule: Either Sat 9am-11:30 or Sat 1pm-3:30pm or Sun 9am-11:30 or Sun 1pm-3:30pm
  • Participants must have skied unassisted from the top of Winslow Mountain previous season.
  • Program cost does NOT include lift access
  • Registration is limited

The following adult groups are for skiers of all abilities.

 

Adult Midweek Group

  • Lift access is NOT included in the program cost
  • Equipment is available to rent but is NOT included in the program cost
  • Program rentals are available for $90
