Currently we have welders and machinery replacing some pipe on the hill to facilitate better flow to enable the Skiway to open more terrain faster and operate more efficiently. Additionally, we are adding snowmaking to Lower Howard Chivers-- the area directly under the lower section of the Winslow Chairlift-- this project includes pipe, hydrants and guns for rapid coverage of this area which we plan on allowing to build mild/moderate bump terrain. We have also performed significant clean-out of waterbars and trail edges to create a better environment for fast and early opening of trails.
Our rental shop will also host new Rossignol snowboard boots and boards for the riders out there. Great new Volkl Demos skis-- we still have barely used demo skis from last season available at great prices. Our retail shop is filling with some of the best deals on ski clothing and accessories in the Upper Valley. Don't forget to have your bindings function tested and your skis tuned for the very best performance and enjoyment you derive-- we can do that here at the Skiway.
