The Dartmouth Figure Skating Team was
established in 1997. We skate competitively in all levels of freestyle
and ice dance in the Eastern Collegiate Figure Skating Conference. As a
team we have qualified for the National Collegiate Figure Skating Team
Championships every year since 2000. In April 2007, the Team won its 4th consecutive
National title at home in Hanover, NH ending its fourth
straight undefeated season. In 2002 we placed 3rd when the
championships were held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,
Michigan. In 2000 the championships were held at the University of
Miami at Ohio. After a 2nd place finish that year we were featured in
Skating Magazine.

The team has ice time every day at
Dartmouth's beautiful Thompson Arena. We have a wide variety of
students who skate and compete in all levels from pre-intermediate
through senior in freestyle and dance. Our club offers a range of
skating opportunities. For the experienced competitor we offer
competition and testing opportunities. For skaters who wish to continue
to maintain a high level of skating and enter qualifying competitions
we have a unique enrollment plan that would allow you to take off the
terms you are training most heavily and still graduate on time. For all
skaters we offer an opportunity to continue the sport you love at the
level you desire in a supportive environment. If you are a great
student, and you love to figure skate, Dartmouth College is for you!
