the website is live!

okay, this is obvious because you're reading it on the website, but it's good to note that it is finally up and accessible. thanks to jidi for the work involved.

approacheth, together with blitzlisting (just as they are considering replacing the system, i hear). exciting times. expect to have sensei ken bladyka, of the okinawan karate dojo, as a guest instructor soon following our visit there.

march 09

uneventful update

the website is now more complete than ever, but we are waiting for official allocation of web space and blitzmail priveleges. but i'm writing this anyway. we are now officially a 'club sport', but nothing appears to have changed. training as usual!

september 08

orientation week

watch out for us at the orientation week sports 'thing', where members of the club will be on hand to tell you that you look lovely today (wednesday 24th september, 4 - 6 pm, alumni gym) as well as why karate is good for the body, the mind, and also for the pe credit requirement!

demonstration on the green

this has yet to be arranged, but it sounds like fun so best check here again at some point to see whether it's going to happen.

so i made an events page - that's an event, right? okay, but given that we're going to have things like gradings, and cometitions, and social days/nights out/in (you can tell i've thought this through), it makes sense to have them listed somewhere.
