Segregation Simulator
The segregation applet simulates the movement of people between houses within
a "city." The city is a square that is divided into 10 x
10 "tracts" which are in turn divided into a grid of smaller squares.
Each small square in the city represents a house that can be vacant or occupied
by a red, blue, or a green square.
In the applet you can set up rules to restrict
the movement of different colors and run the simulation to see how these
rules affect the distribution of city
residents.
There are two versions of the applet. Both do the same thing, but one
or the other may work better with your browser.
