Assistant Professor of Studio Art Application Requirements

DARTMOUTH COLLEGE - Assistant Professor of Studio Art. Tenure track.  Starts July 2013. Salary commensurate with experience; benefits included.  Qualified candidates must have an M.Arch, plus either an MFA or equivalent Fine Arts training.  Requirements:  evidence of effective college teaching beyond graduate school, significant creative achievement and active exhibition record.  Candidate must offer an interdisciplinary, innovative approach to teaching architecture in relation to a liberal arts curriculum, and must be able to teach Architecture I, II, and III as well as Drawing, Senior Seminar, and Independent Studies.  Involvement in the administration of the department, student advising, and group critiques of student work in all areas of the department are required.  Application must include a letter of intent, CV, list of 3 references with contact information, 20 digital images of professional work and 20 digital images of student work.
