100 years of the DOC
Thursday, February 12
12:00 PM – 12:00AM: Carnival Poster and T-shirt Sales @ Collis Info Desk
2:00 PM: Carni Classic @ The Golf Course. 3km ski race open to all experience levels, costumes are highly encouraged!
4:00 PM: Human Dogsled Race @ The Green. Come in costume and enjoy prized and hot chocolate floats!
6:00 PM: The Vagina Monologues@ Dartmouth Hall Room 105
7:00 PM: Opening Ceremonies @ The Green. Come celebrate the start of Winter Carnival weekend. President Wright welcomes students, the community and friends of Dartmouth. A capella groups will perform, ceremonial torches will be lit and the snow sculpture will be unveiled! Followed by refreshments in Collis Cafe'.
8:30 PM– 11:00 PM: Mr. and Mrs. Big Green School Spirit Competition @ Collis Commonground
9:00 PM: Film: Winter Carnival (1939) @ Top of the Hop
Friday, February 13
All Day: 99 Cent Ski Day @ The Dartmouth Skiway (w/student ID)
All Day: Come out and cheer on the Ski Team as they compete!
9:30 AM: Women's Giant Slalom 1st run @ The Dartmouth Skiway
10:00 AM: Women's 5K Classical @ Oak Hill Cross Country Center
10:30 AM: Men's Giant Slalom 1st run @ The Dartmouth Skiway
11:15 AM: Men's 10K Classical @ Oak Hill Cross Country Center
12:00 PM: Polar Bear Swim @ Occum Pond - Plunge into the icy depths of Occom Pond and experience a Dartmouth tradition! Bring towel, swimsuit and warm clothes.

Venue Information:
Dartmouth Skiway - Take Rt. 10 north 10 miles, turn right on Main St./ Dorchester Rd. for 3 miles. Skiway buses will run limited weekend schedule. Check "Winter Carnival" blitz bulletin for Fri. and Sat. bus schedules.
Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center @ DOC House - The DOC House is located at the end of Rope Ferry Rd. on Occom Pond.
Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center @ Oak Hill - Take Rt. 10 north, take a right onto Resevoir Rd. Shortly, take a left to the Storrs Pond Rec Area. Oak Hill is on your right. Check "Winter Carnival" blitz bulletin for possible location change and available transportation to the venue.
BUSES: To and From the Skiway for the 99 Cent Ski Day
Depart from the Hop, 9am - 4:pm, on the hour
Depart from the Skiway, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm, on the half hour
