RWIT seeks proficient student writers for its staff of undergraduate tutors and writing assistants. RWIT invites faculty to nominate the proficient student writers in their courses.

Nominating a student is very easy:

• Go to the Writing Database website: http://writingdb.dartmouth.edu.
• Log into Dartmouth's Web Authentication website.
• Click on "Nominate a Proficient Student Writer."
• Complete a nomination form for each student (include student's name, the course, and any brief evaluative remarks you care to make).
• Review the information, then click the "Submit" button.

Please note that a nomination may not serve as a letter of recommendation.

The Center will invite these writers to apply to work on the Center's staff. By nominating students who have demonstrated superior writing skills in your classes, you enable the Center to recruit and hire applicants with the highest qualifications.

Our application deadline is January 31. RWIT will make hiring decisions in early May. We welcome nominations year-round.
