1. What do I do if I am injured and need immediate emergency treatment?

You will be provided with treatment at the nearest hospital or appropriate facility. This treatment will be authorized and the bills will be paid. When your condition no longer requires emergency treatment, you should contact your Injury Management Facilitator at 1-800-842-1495, extension 6526, so that you can be assisted with all follow-up care.

2. What is an Injury Management Facilitator?

Injury Management Facilitators work with injured employees, employers, and medical, hospital and other providers to ensure that the injured employee receives effective, timely, and appropriate services in order to achieve maximum medical improvement and an expeditious return to work. All medical management services are performed in accordance with New Hampshire laws.

3. If I am injured and it is not an emergency situation, where do I go for medical treatment?

You will select a provider from the Travelers/CorVel Medical Network list provided on the Travelers' Website. Or, the Travelers' Insurance Internet site at www.travelers.com.

Select:

  • Protecting Your Business - Claim Services
  • Workers' Compensation - Find a Network Medical Provider You are now in the Workers' Compensation provider database:
  • Select- provider type (there are 5 choices)

Continue:

  • Select - search for provider near me (by a location)
  • Enter address (minimum required is zip code)
  • Choose mileage
  • Specialty clinic choice is optional
  • Number of provider matches is noted at top of page
  • Screen shows 10 providers. To see more, page down, click "next" button to continue review of all providers found in your search. Or:
  • Select - by a provider name (enter zip code and provider name)

You must go to one of the listed Network Providers, or the treatment may not be authorized. Providers are conveniently located for your convenience.

4. What is meant by a Network Provider and what does he/she do?

The Network Provider is a physician who is appropriate to treat your injury. The Network Provider works with your Injury Management Facilitator to facilitate prompt, appropriate medical care and a timely return to work. The Network includes specialists should you choose to see one for your work-related injury.

5. What should I do if I am not happy with my Network Provider?

You can select another Network Provider, but you should contact your Injury Management Facilitator to help make the necessary arrangements.

6. How do my medical bills get paid?

Your Network Provider will send all medical bills in connection with your compensable work-related injury directly to the Travelers Managed Care Program. The Program will pay for all medically necessary care. You should not receive any bills in connection with your compensable work-related injury. If this happens, call your Injury Management Facilitator.

7. Where can I get more information about my claim?

You can go access information about your claim by going to www.mywcinfo.com. Be sure to have your claim number available.
