Approved college drivers

Employees driving on College business or College-sponsored activities must first become approved College drivers.

Students driving for College-sponsored activities must be authorized by the office granting approval (such as DCAD, Tucker Foundation, Outdoor Programs, etc.) and their name must be included on the Approved Driver's List maintained by Parking and Transportation Services.

To be approved, both employees and students must complete an on-line Defensive Driver training course. Access to the course is provided upon receipt of a completed driver application form and a motor vehicle record review that meets the College's criteria.

All student drivers of vans or micro-buses for College business or activities must be road tested in addition to being listed on the Approved Driver's List. Call Parking and Transportation Services at (603) 646-9876 to arrange road testing.

Any physical damage to a College-owned, leased or rented vehicle resulting from the operation by a student or employee not an approved driver will be charged to the department/program allowing such unauthorized use of the vehicle.

The Driver Policies, applications and driver approval process information are located in the Driver Safety Program section of this website. If you need assistance to access this information or have further questions, please call (603) 646-9876.
