Certificates of insurance

Dartmouth College requires and maintains an active record of General Liability, Workers' Compensation and Automobile Liability insurance carried by all contractors and vendors who do work, provide a service, deliver a product or use or lease College-owned facilities.

Dartmouth College requires every contractor/vendor to show evidence of General Liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 per occurrence as well as naming THE TRUSTEES OF DARTMOUTH COLLEGE as ADDITIONAL INSURED insofar as it pertains to the work done, service provided or product delivered to the College. Additional requirements may be necessary as determined by OIRMI.

On an on-going basis, OIRMI verifies its insurance records for all College department vendors. We appreciate the cooperation of College departments in assisting us with this mandatory compliance issue.

When new vendors, contractors or consultants are being considered for jobs at the College, the names, addresses and contact person's name must be submitted in writing to OIRMI BEFORE awarding bids.

These insurance requirements are for the protection of the vendors, as well as for Dartmouth College, its officers and employees.

If you have any questions regarding these insurance requirements please contact OIRMI at (603) 646-2442.

Business Ethics Helplines
