Project RightChoice is an entirely student-run organization. Thus, by supporting us, you’re not only making a contribution to a deserving charity and making a profound, positive impact in the lives of those less fortunate, but you are also contributing to the growth and maturation of the moral and ethical leaders of tomorrow. Below you can read the stories behind some of our volunteers.
Executive Officers:
Alec Ring ’15, Vice-President
Alec Ring is a member of the class of 2015 at Dartmouth College. Alec enjoys music, friendship, and a glass of cool ice water with lemon. He prefers it to any other drink. Besides his work with Project RightChoice, Alec is a member of Dartmouth's improv comedy troupe the Dog Day Players. Born and raised in Baltimore MD, Alec is considering a major in the social sciences. Alec's dream jobs include baseball player, astronaut, and ancient philosopher.
Jennifer Weissbach ’14, President
Jennifer Weissbach is from North Caldwell, NJ, and is a member of the Dartmouth Class of 2014. She is currently a Neuroscience major and plans to graduate Pre-Health. Jennifer plays varsity field hockey at Dartmouth and has had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Sydney in Australia. Jennifer enjoys working with others and helping those in need, which is exemplified through her passion and commitment to Project RightChoice.
Evan Gray ’13, Leadership Initiative Chair
Evan is from Edmond, OK, and is a member of the Dartmouth Class of 2013. She is interested in studying Government and Religion. Evan currently pitches for the Dartmouth Softball Team and enjoys reading, writing, and photography. She works for a daycare each summer and has a passion for serving her community. She has worked with two other non-profits, Infant Crisis Services and Ally’s House, while in high school.
Jenna Stearns ’13, Service Chair
Jenna Stearns grew up in Thornton, NH and is a member of the class of 2013 at Dartmouth College. She is majoring in Psychology and is a member of the Varsity Field Hockey team. Jenna volunteers at her local hospital and works at her local fire department.
Fatima Carrillo ’13, Education and Outreach Chair
Fatima Carrillo is from Los Angeles, CA, and is a member of the Dartmouth Class of 2013, majoring in both History with a concentration in International Studies and Spanish modified with Latin American Studies. Fatima is president of the Eta Xi Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority. In the winter of 2012, she worked at the Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital as an intern in the Community Outreach Department. In the summer, she plans to return as an intern to the Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital and study for the LSAT.
Lauren Jenny ’14, Secretary
Lauren Jenny grew up in Wayland, MA, and is a member of the class of 2014 at Dartmouth College where she is studying Psychology and Sociology. Lauren currently plays for the Women's Club Lacrosse team and Women's Club Basketball team on campus. She is also a member of DREAM, an organization working with underprivileged children, and a member of the management team for the Special Olympic Games, run by Dartmouth students. Lauren is a member of Kappa Delta Epsilon Sorority. She is also a dual citizen of Switzerland.
Ned Kingsley ’14, Treasurer
Ned Kingsley is a member of the Class of 2014 from Sherborn, MA — a small suburb outside of Boston. Ned attended St. Sebastian’s School in Needham, MA where he played football, served as editor of his school newspaper, and as captain of the debate team. At Dartmouth, Ned is majoring in Engineering, while working toward a minor in Classics. On campus, Ned plays rugby and is a member of Beta Alpha Omega Fraternity. He is also an avid outdoorsman, and loves both hunting and fishing.
Graham Mellen ’15, Membership Chair
Graham Mellen is from Wayland, MA and is a member of the Dartmouth class of 2015. He is interested in studying Economics and Math. Graham is a member of Club Swimming and Club Tennis B-Team on campus, and also looks to become involved with Habitat for Humanity this spring. In high school, Graham was involved in Kids to Kids, a group that raised money for children in developing countries, and Handi-Racket, a tennis clinic for mentally disabled adults. He also enjoys the summers he has spent working with children as a lifeguard and counselor for swimming and tennis.
