About Us
We are a diverse group of nerdy, passionate graduate students representing all disciplines of study, from astronomy to zoology. Our shared vision for GradTalks is captured in the following three points:
1. First and foremost, we are eager to share our research with the broader public, with the hope of reaching out to folks and communities who normally wouldn't have the opportunity to interact with graduate students.
2. Second, want to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue to find common threads and themes that link research ideas across seemingly disparate areas of study (e.g. linking molecular genetics with socio-political theory).
3. Last but certainly not least, we want to dispel any notion that only professors conduct cutting-edge research!
