Weekend Immersion Program (WIP)

Program Description
Greetings to our ALPs and WIP alumni, and other friends! Our first year of WIP partnerships proved to be a terrific success thanks to our wonderful students and staff! The Rassias Foundation and Fairfield University are delighted and eager to continue offering these rigorous refresher programs.

GroupWe are thrilled to announce the upcoming WIPs, which will take place on the Fairfield University campus during the weekend of April 4 - 6, 2008 and October 24 -26, 2008.

If you are looking to reinforce and improve your language skills but have limited time the WIP is the perfect program for you! In just three days you will solidify your prior knowledge and learn so much more!

Program Details

Dates for Spring 2008
:
April 4 - 6, 2008

Registration deadline:
March 28, 2008

Languages: Arabic, French, Italian & Spanish.

Language Levels: Advanced Beginner, Low Intermediate, and High Intermediate are available. A phone interview is required for admittance.

Meals: Lunches with staff are mandatory and are included in the cost of the program. Breakfast and dinner are at the student's expense. Transportation is not provided to these meals.

Lodging: Participants may stay at the Best Western Black Rock Inn (203) 659-2200 or (866) 922-ROCK, or the Fairfield Inn (203) 255-0491, both located five minutes drive from campus.  Additional rooms can be found at the Westport Inn (203) 259-5236 and the Inn at Longshore (203) 266-3316.

Airport information: The most convenient airports to Fairfield University are Westchester/White Plains Airport, LaGuardia Airport and Bradley International. JFK International and Newark Airports, not much farther away, also have convenient public transportation to Fairfield, CT.

Fees: Tuition is $500 which includes a $100 non-refundable registration fee.

Payment: The $100.00 non-refundable registration fee is due upon registration. Full payment is due 10 days prior to the start of classes.

Refund: A 50% refund, less $100 registration fee, will be issued if you cancel prior to program commencement.

Discount Policy: If two members of a family or business attend, the second person gets a 10% discount. If three or more people attend, each person receives a 10% discount. One discount per person.

Cancellation Policy: Rassias Foundation and Fairfield University reserve the right to cancel classes. A full refund would be issued.
