Weather
New England weather is famous for changing its mind! Summer temperature in Hanover can range from a pleasant and dry 60 degrees Fahrenheit to a hot and humid 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Winter weather has just as dramatic a range of cold temperatures.

We recommend that people dress in layers. Sweaters and jackets are important for the winter, as well as something lighter weight to wear during classes. All the college facilities are heated, but not all are air conditioned. In the late spring and summer, bring a light jacket for the evenings. Dress is casual and practical. In Hanover, one has to be prepared for everything!

Medical Facilites
The Rassias Foundation protocol for health emergencies is based on the Rassias Foundation/Dartmouth College pattern over the years during the ALPs programs. All our medical referrals are sent/brought to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, a full teaching hospital. Dartmouth-Hitchcock is a five – ten minute drive from campus and provides excellent service.
