Yes, but we will need a complete list of the material, the building and room number where the material is located and any additional information as needed. If there is any Capital Equipment, please note the asset tag numbers. If these are items that Central Stores delivery staff can remove, there will be no charge for this service. If there is a large amount of material to be removed, if any of the items are large enough to warrant special moving equipment, or if the removal must be accomplished within a specified schedule, you may be asked to provide an account number to charge this removal to. A work order will be written and FO&M will remove the equipment.
No, the Materials Management Coordinator will first determine if there is any need for the computer in other college operations. When there is no need for reuse on campus, the Materials Manager will attempt to sell the computer. If the computer is sold, the funds will revert back to the department or to the Dean's Office responsible for the funds used for the original purchase. If the computer is not sold and there is an opportunity for charitable giving, legal requirements for transfer of ownership, product liability, and fiduciary audit require that the charitable giving be directed by the Materials Management Coordinator.

No, we do not have the storage space available. We will remove the furniture and make it available for reuse on campus. If you have a need for the additional furniture in the future, we will try to provide you with similar furniture if available at no charge. Depending on the type of furniture in question, there may be a delivery charge. If the department has valuable items that they must store, off campus storage can be arranged by the Materials Manager.
The college has contracted leased storage space in a local warehouse, which is temperature controlled, secure, and accessible by our campus delivery teams. Work orders can be written through FO&M for delivery from this warehouse to meet your scheduling needs. Use of this storage space costs 55 cents per square foot per month. Please contact the appropriate Procurement Specialist at Procurement Services or the Materials Management Coordinator for further information. Please allow as much lead-time as possible to make arrangements for this temporary storage space.
