Psychology Research/Participants Needed

Your name can be removed from the email list by emailing PsyStudies@dartmouth.edu or contacting the main office of the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences.

Assist research by adding your name to this list of willing participants. Submitting your name will provide you with a once a week email regarding ongoing research projects that are in need of human participants. You browse the list and decide which studies you would like to participate in. Some researchers offer raffles, prizes or gift certificates in return for your participation. Other experiments are on a volunteer basis or offer small monetary compensation. All experiments are approved by the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects and the CPHS approval number is listed with each project. You can discontinue participation in a study at any time. Answering the demographic and background questions places your name in the database. At the end of the questions you have the option to allow the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences access to the information contained in your responses for the purpose of recruiting your assistance in research for an indeterminate amount of time. This is a database of names and background information that will be collected and maintained in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College and only authorized personnel have access to the information you provide. This information is to be used to centralize the recruitment of participants and reduce the number of contacts made to individuals streamlining recruitment.
