The team visited Auschwitz-Birkenau
towards the beginning fo the expedition. Over the course of the
day, the participatns viewed both Auschwitz I, the work camp, and
Auschwitz II/Birkenau, the death camp. Although processed at the
beginning of the trip, the emotion felt and the pictures ingrained in
everyone's minds resonated throughout the rest of the project.
Within Auschwitz, the team viewed the consequences of genocide and man's
inhumanity towards man. Below are a selection of photographs taken
