Here lies R. Simchah
The Son of Dov
Who departed on the 16th
day of the month of Adar II the year 5678 (1918)
[May his soul be bound in the bonds of life]
*Additional correspondence with a descendent reveals that R.
Simchah was a Cohen, but the family name in Lunna was Yedvab.
The descendent's grandfather changed the name from Yedvab to
Cohen.
