Here lies buried
O you afflicted, tossed with tempest* on the day of war
She died as a sacrificial offering, and unpitied **
All who know her rise lamenting
[The citrus changes in the spring to life]
Alas the woman
An endearing spirit, You seek out those falling from power ***
Let us rejoice for the purity of her hand and contrite heart
On the 14th day of the month of Tamuz 5701 (1941)
May her soul be bound in the bonds of life
