KATE LARK NAMED DIRECTOR OF COMPREHENSIVE RISK MANAGEMENT AT DARTMOUTH
COLLEGE
I am extremely pleased to announce that Catherine (Kate) Lark arrived on
campus on Monday as the new Director of Comprehensive Risk Management at
Dartmouth College. Kate brings a great deal of risk management and insurance
experience to Dartmouth, having spent more than 25 years in the industry,
primarily in higher education settings. Most recently, Kate was the Director of
Risk Management & Purchasing at Oakland University in Michigan where she
was responsible for all aspects of risk management and insurance, environmental
health and safety, laboratory and fire safety, and purchasing for an 18,000
student institution. Dartmouth will benefit greatly from her wealth of
knowledge, experience and enthusiasm, as well as her past success in building
collaborative relationships with administrative and academic departments across
campus.
Kate received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and
holds an Associate in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of America.
She also completed the Advanced Management Program in Enterprise Risk
Management at Georgia State University.
