Live streaming video feed of a dynamic show presenting a wide range of accomplished alumni and student artists, produced by Paul Lazarus ’76 with MC Rachel Dratch ’88, formerly of Saturday Night Live.

"Dartmouth and the Performing Arts" features:

  • Pilobolus, which started 35 years ago in a Dartmouth dance class and is now “the most popular modern dance company in the country” (New York Post).
  • Ed Kim ’09, piano
  • Buck Henry ’52, writer and actor
  • Jennifer Leigh Warren ’77, singer and actress
  • David Beach ’86, actor
  • Courtney Davis ’09, singer and actress
  • “The Civilians”, a theater group founded by director Steve Cosson ‘90
  • Dartmouth Gospel Choir
  • Plus film excerpts from “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” directed by Chris Miller ’97 and Phil Lord ’97, and “The Trials of Darryl Hunt” directed by Ricki Stern ’87 and Annie Sundberg ‘90
  • Cast members, including Rachel Dratch and Paul Lazarus, will visit the Watch Party at the conclusion of the live show.
  • “Dartmouth and the Performing Arts” will also broadcast live on DarTV (on-campus only).

Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009

11 a.m. Inauguration of President Jim Yong Kim. The Dartmouth Green. The rain location is Leverone Field House. This event will be broadcast live via webcast.

1 p.m - 3 p.m Community celebration featuring the Dartmouth College Gospel Choir and Band, and other student performances. The rain location is Leede Arena.
