Sarnoff completed a double major in geography and women's and gender studies and participated in foreign study programs in both departments to Prague and Hyderabad, India, respectively. While at Dartmouth, she was a Presidential Scholar involved in research regarding teen health behavior, which combined her skills in geography with her interest in improving access to important resources among under-served communities. She mentored students on campus and off through the First Year Student Enrichment Program as well as the Outdoor Leadership Experience and was a leader in Alpha Xi Delta sorority, serving as philanthropy chair and chapter life vice president. She got her first glimpse "behind the scenes" of delivering a Dartmouth education through her work as the full-time intern in the Women's and Gender Studies Program and is eager to expand upon this knowledge through her placement in the Office of the Provost. She hopes to use her experience as a Presidential Fellow to pursue a career in the non-profit field, addressing the disparate access to education and healthcare in our country and throughout the world.
