Dartmouth Water Polo

Dartmouth Water Polo is currently in the midst its 2012 season. The team aims to maintain its competitive tradition, which has seen it finish within the top two spots of the conference each of the past six seasons and 2nd place amongst Ivy League club teams last season. Last season, Dartmouth Water Polo fell one goal short from going to nationals, and will work hard to ensure that this upcoming season is another run to the top of the New England Division.

Dartmouth Water Polo works extremely hard for its short season, with preseason training camp during the Summer-Fall interim and off-campus practices at White River Junction's Upper Valley Aquatic Center (UVAC), which generously allows the team to use its 25-meter all-deep pool.

Because some of the teams players are also highly competitive swimmers on Dartmouth's varsity team, Dartmouth Water Polo will be limited to weekly practices for the winter term. The team will return to the pool for regular practices this spring and prepare for the upcoming 2012 season, one that will surely carry on the team's tradition of excellence.

Though water polo at Dartmouth is a club sport, the team trains rigorously and as hard as varsity programs. The team is open to all students of the College or any of its graduate programs.
