About Dartmouth Ultimate
Dartmouth Ultimate consists of two teams. The men’s team, the Pain Train, has ranked in the top 5 of the region for the past 5 years. This past year the Pain Train won its Region, receiving a bid to Nationals. The women’s team, Princess Layout has ranked #1 in the Region, qualifying for nationals for 4 out of the past 5 years. In 2006, Princess finished 5th in the nation.
Ultimate is a fast paced field sport, played across the country at the collegiate level. Throughout the year we travel all over the country. In the past couple of years we’ve been to Texas, Las Vegas, Seattle, Ohio, and all along the East Coast (from Maine to Georgia) to play in some of the nation’s most competitive tournaments.
Dartmouth Ultimate is looking for athletes. Former basketball, soccer, track, football, lacrosse, cross country, and tennis stars all make great ultimate players, but skill with a disc is not necessary. Even if you’re not an athlete and want to get involved with a fun club sport, come check us out, we want you!
Dartmouth Ultimate prides itself on being a close-knit community of friends on and off the field. Although we play as separate men’s and women’s teams, the two teams will often travel together as an Ultimate family. As a result, our team plays with more heart than any other sport at Dartmouth. People love this game, Dartmouth loves this game, and we know you will too.
