Test Your Certificates

To verify that you can connect to a PKI protected web site with a certificate issued by Dartmouth College, use the link below after reviewing these instructions.

Your browser may present you with a list of certificates. If so, pick your Dartmouth certificate. Your browser should ask you for your certificate store password. If so, supply it.
Successful Test: If your testing was successful, you will receive a confirmation message.
Unsuccessful Test (if you don't see a confirmation message):
- Check your certificate following the "Verify that your certificate is OK" directions in the appropriate browser details page at: Browser Details
- Some part of your installation may be misconfigured. Check that you followed the instructions for getting a certificate correctly.
If you still don't have a successful test, please check the Frequently Asked Questions page and double-check the information in the appropriate Browser Details page for your browser. If you still have problems accessing the PKI-controlled network service, you should contact the Help Desk for assistance. Send an email message to Help@dartmouth.edu or call 646-2999.
