Lab Activities

The purposes of this lab are:

  1. to construct an elementary feedback circuit using an operational amplifier;

  2. to understand and appreciate the difference between the gain-bandwidth product and the slew rate limitations of op amps and to measure these effects for two different op amps; and

  3. to measure the input offset voltage and input bias current for an op amp, appreciate when it is important, and explore methods for reducing its effect.
