Lab Activities

Students are introduced to elementary ideas of solid state circuit design and construction. Device characteristics are used to determine proper circuit elements and, after construction, the properties of the finished circuits are measured and compared with predictions. Devices constructed are a FET amplifier, a transistor amplifier, an operational amplifier, a voltage follower, an inverting amplifier, a tuned amplifier, an integrator and a differentiator.
