Research Interests

Physics at the mesoscale or nanometer scale in magnetic novel materials, including magnetic oxides, magnetic nanodots, and magnetic multilayers. Microfabrication and microcharacterization of nanostructures using various probes such as e-beam lithography, scanning probe microscopy, and x-ray microdiffraction. Relationship between the electronic/magnetic properties, and structure of nanodevices, thin films, and solids studied by low-temperature transport, SQUID magnetometry, and x-ray scattering.
