The Francis W. Gramlich Philosophy Prize

In memory of Professor Gramlich, a member of the Philosophy Department from 1940 to 1972, a modest monetary prize was established in 1973 through gifts from alumni of the Bell System Humanities and Management Development Programs, former students and colleagues, and from AT& T. It is awarded annually to the philosophy major who best exemplifies those qualities of mind and character that Professor Gramlich sought to develop in his students.
