Pediatrics Administration - 5th Floor, Rubin Building

Since its move in the fall of 2003, Pediatrics Administration is on the 5th floor of the Rubin Building. At the Information Desk in the main rotunda on the 3rd floor, go toward the Borwell Building down a glassed-in hallway. After you pass the hallway to the Cancer Center Infusion Suite, walk through double doors and then immediately left into a narrow hallway. Go past stairs on the right and go straight ahead to the Cancer Research Elevators. Take the elevator to the 5th floor. Take a right out of the elevator and go to the end of the hall. Turn left. The office of Holly Harrison, pediatric clerkship coordinator, is the third office on the right. The offices of Dr. Leslie Fall, Dr. John Modlin, Dr. Carol Little and the pediatrics chief resident are also in this area.

Norm Berman, Co-Director, Pediatrics Clerkship

Dr. Berman's office is on the 6th floor in the new Doctors' Office Building. From the Information Desk in the rotunda, walk east toward the east entrance. Go to the end of the corridor and turn right. Walk to the end of this corridor to the East Mall Elevators. Go up the elevator to the 6th floor. Exit the elevator and go straight toward 6L (Pediatrics clinic). Pass 6L and keep going to 6M. Go through the door to the right of the 6M receptionist. Go straight to the end of that hall, and take a right. Norm's office is the second-to-last office on the left.

Pediatrics Inpatient Unit - 5th Floor

Sometimes referred to as the Pediatrics “ward,” the inpatient unit is on the 5th floor at the north end of the medical center. From the stairway above the Information Desk, walk north to the end of the corridor. Walk past the elevators on the right, then right toward Pediatric/Adolescent Unit. Bear left into the unit, which is marked “CHaD, Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Units.”

Pediatric/Adolescent Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - 3rd Floor

The PICU is on the 3rd floor at the north end of the medical center. From the Information Desk, go north toward the food court. Go past Admissions and the food court (Center Court) on the left. Go past Mammography/OB Ultrasound on the right, then past Nuclear Medicine. Walk around the stairway and then past the elevators on the right. Take a right through a doorway marked “Pediatric/Adolescent Intensive Care” Unit and continue into the unit.

Normal Newborn Nursery and Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) - 5th Floor

Follow signs to the Birthing Pavilion to find the Normal Newborn Nursery. The Nursery and ICN are on the 5th floor. From the stairway above the Information Desk, walk north down the corridor and go right across the second bridge. At the end of the hall, go left to enter the Intensive Care Nursery; go right to enter the Birthing Pavilion (Normal Newborn Nursery).
