The purpose of the administrative core is to ensure the efficient execution of all aspects of the Program Aims and to maintain quality control within the Program. This includes attention to scientific timelines for each project, scientific review, and coordinating communication of results to other investigators in the Program.

Core B

Microscopy and pathology

The Microscopy and Pathology Core will provide coordinated services for experiments in the Component Projects requiring fluorescence imaging or histopathological analysis.

Core C

In vivo PDT: animals, dosimetry, and statistics

The In vivo PDT: Animals, Dosimetry, and Statistics Core will provide equipment, services and training necessary for a wide range of PDT experiments on living animals. The Core aims to catalyze the fusion of biological and physics expertise and together with appropriate dosimetry and statistical input allow animal experiments to be carried out as efficiently and economically as possible.
