Start this a day or two beforehand, or substitute an ice cube & water mixture for the cold water to shorten the refrigeration time.
| 7 pkgs | assorted flavored gelatins |
| 12 oz | evaporated milk |
| 8 oz | frozen whipped topping, thawed |
- VERY lightly, coat a glass dish with non-stick spray.
- Dissolve one package of gelatin in ¾ cup boiling water. Add ¾ cup cold water; stir. Refrigerate until almost set, about 40 minutes.
- Dissolve another package of gelatin in ½ cup boiling water. Add ½ cup cold water and ½ cup evaporated milk. Pour into a spool held low and horizontally over the first layer to prevent the warmer liquid from melting a hole in the cooled layer. Refrigerate until almost set.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 with remaining 5 packages of gelatin, refrigerating between layers and ending with a plain (non-milk) layer of gelatin.
- Just before serving, spread with whipped topping.
