Alpha Phi was chartered at Dartmouth this past spring of 2007 Founded in October 10, 1872 at Syracuse University Alpha Phi’s are members of a lifelong sisterhood, a woman’s fraternity. Our keystone is friendship–warm, simple and sincere. In Alpha Phi there is encouragement, understanding, and opportunities to grow. With members all over the world and collegiate and alumnae chapters throughout the United States and Canada—our sisterhood knows no bounds. We seek the highest ideals of womanhood, and we try to gain this ideal by cultivating not only the power and passion for seeking intellectual development but also the , spirit of love and charity. Alpha Phi’s Philanthropy focus is the fight against heart disease and trying to help women have healthy hearts through our foundation the Alpha Phi Foundation.
