monica morrison
monica hails from orlando, florida, the polar opposite of hanover. when
she lived in orlando, she enjoyed things like surfing, swimming, and
water polo, among other activites. now that she's in new hampshire, she
likes drinking tea and listening to music and writing. though much more
sedentary and on the whole less attractive to the opposite sex, she
finds herself to be much happier than her earlier years. she has the
worst luck out of anyone you'll ever meet, and she likes to think of
herself as a jack-of-all-trades.
monica considers herself to be accomplished in oral tradition, and
loves telling people stories above all else. she's trying her hand at
writing the stories instead of speaking them as an english creative
writing major. she finds a great deal of importance in bringing good,
non-mainstream music to the campus and is the head of the organization
friday night rock. she's also working on a music project with two
students, a band with a modified stand-up base, keyboards/synth, and a
laptop drum machine. the band is called 86, and hopes to perform around
hanover soon.
